Your card has been developed to provide you with the NFC technology through which, you can settle any transaction in a fast, easy and secure manner. All you need to do is wave your card in front of the POS machine to complete the transaction.
Make sure to memorize your card’s PIN Code, as some POS machines might request it to complete some transactions exceeding a specific amount.
How To Pay Faster Through TAP & PAY:
1. Look for the contactless symbol on the POS machine.
2. Hold your card over the POS machine.
3. A visual/audio signal is displayed once the transaction is approved.
- Chip Technology
Your card uses chip technology which provides you with increased protection as you will be requested to enter your card and PIN Code to complete the transaction.
- Magnetic Strip
The traditional way of paying with any payment card, through swiping the card’s magnetic strip on the back of the card on the reader, and sign the slip.
BLOM Golden Points Program
The BLOM Golden Points program allows you to collect points every time you use your card around the world for your purchases. For every USD 1 spent on your card, you get 1 or more Golden Points depending on the number of domiciliations you have on your account*. You can redeem your accumulated Golden points against a wide range of gifts such as electronics, smartphones, jewelry, hotel stays and home equipment etc.

About the BLOM Mastercard Gold Credit Card and BLOM Visa Gold Credit Card
- The BLOM Gold card is a credit card that offers the convenience of a revolving line of credit. You can choose to repay in 2 ways:
- You can accumulate all your purchases and repay the total amount of your spending before the 10th of the month interest free, benefiting from a 45-day grace period.
- Settle a portion of your spending every month, starting from 3%, with a minimum of USD 20 for USD cards and LBP 25,000 for LBP cards.
- Life Insurance covering the outstanding balance in case of death (conditions apply).
- Annual Fee:
- For LBP cards: LBP 200,000
- For USD cards: USD 100
